Rules

We like it plain and simple. We embraced agile methodologies before thy were labeled as such, yet maintain a no-nonsens approach in every aspect of our professional life, adapting our approaches to the needs of the problems we’re trying to solve.

We break down our process into two parts, first aiming to exercise your concepts in a simplified buissiness context with ease, in order to gain confidence if needed, then jumping into production. Or, if you prefer, we’ll build something and throw it straight into production!

Validation

In this process we are going to challenge your idea. The result will be working proof of concept to demonstrate the feasibility of the project and identify its potential risks. This is the best way to look at the future of your project with minimum investment. We will pick together most viable features we can do within 4 weeks period. It’s almost like MVP :)

Stage 1: Scope

Agree on cooperation terms and conditions. Prepare validation scheme which will be executed to verify Proof of concept and check how expected risks will be addressed.

Outcomes:

  • List of test scenarios and other acceptance factors.
  • Risk assessment
  • Resources allocation

Maximum response time : 1 WEEK

Stage 2: Implementation

Relatively short period of time to focus on the actual idea not implementation. The highest priority at this stage is not quality and while we can reuse some portion of application code we are not obligated to do so.

Outcomes:

  • Proof of concept demo.
  • Risk and feasibility study

Maximum response time : 4 WEEKS

Development

You either passed our Idea Validation part or have enough confidence by yourself to start production development right away. Similarly to Idea Validation it all starts with fair amout of scoping and collective definition of success factors. Than after defining time box we are good to go. Its driven according to easy to understand agile process.

Stage 1: Scope

This is first iteration aiming at bootstrapping of your project.

Outcomes:

  • Initial set of user stories
  • Agreement on validation method
  • Allocation of resources
  • Hand off & exit plan.
  • Product development program qualification.

Maximum response time : 2 WEEKS

Stage 2: Implementation

We develop project up to desired time frame (12, 24 or 52 Weeks). We work in order of stories prioritisation. For the project to be considered successful, the majority of the MUST-HAVE use cases should be implemented.

Outcomes:

  • The software passing validation test suite
  • Project Documentation
  • Unit test suite
  • Sources

Production cycle lengths: 12, 24 or 52 WEEKS
